Cask No. 1: Inaugural Release

FOUNDERS’ SERIES | AUTUMN 2023 | SINGLE MALT WHISKY

bottle of Cask No.1 single malt whisky. Dark in colour and black label with gold foiling

RELEASE NOTE

This limited-edition whisky was bottled exclusively for the founding members of Cooper King Distillery*, who helped turn a daring dream into reality. It was the first whisky to be bottled at the distillery, from the first-filled cask. A ballot was held for the lucky recipient of bottle #1. Distilled in 2019, the whisky was matured in a Tasmanian Apera cask (Cask No. 1) and finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. It was bottled at 3 years and 8 months old at 46.5% abv.

*Available to ‘Copper’ membership holders only.

DISTILLER’S COMMENTS
